How many times we do not promise something and that person were wrong to believe that we will have a second chance? In order to get that job and earn the trust of the people with whom we deal, we must show that our word is law. These seven #TipsToniTorres I share with you have been excellent partners in both my personal life and professional.
Note that your actions will always have a domino effect.
- Do your word
Every time you commit to something you fulfill it. The easiest way to lose credibility is being wrong with the people who promised them anything. Take responsibility for your actions and do not put pretexts. If, for example, you atrasaste with some delivery, tell your client; will thank you.
- Be honest
Honesty is one of the most heavily weighted values in the business world. If someone discovers a lie can be sure that you will lose your confidence. Start being honest with yourself in order to meet all the goals you’ve proposed.
- Lead by example
Remember that every action has an effect and leaves no trace. Be consistent with what you say and what you do. Your employees need someone to motivate them and guide them, show them by example that it is possible to meet the objectives.
- Watch your reputation
Nobody is responsible for your behavior. If you do something that affects your reputation, your company will also be in danger.
- Be Excellent
It gives 150 percent of your effort into everything you do. The only difference between doing well and doing good is to want to stand out. Commit yourself to have the discipline to be a productive, healthy and passionate entrepreneur.
- Be responsible
No one can take care of your results, attitudes and behaviors. We know that we must have a balance between personal and professional life, but do not leave out important business tasks.
- Be on time
Punctuality speaks of your commitment, because every time you arrive sooner or later deliveries either a task, quote or document, you build your reputation. If you want to position yourself as a reliable and serious person to do business you must learn to be punctual.
